Design Trends and Versatility

In recent years, dark earth tone roofs have become extremely popular and are the perfect fashion statement for those seeking to modernize the exterior of their home. Thanks to its luxurious and velvety rich brown hue, this mocha-inspired shade offers homeowners a versatile roofscape that can either enhance the modernity of their abode by pairing with contrasting exterior paint schemes or give off a more natural, soothing oasis with a muted color palette.

Showcased here in several of our profiles, Arcadia Canyon Brown’s appearance is versatile enough to suit whichever home style you are after. Select our svelte Bel Air profile for a truly magnificent and modern appearance. Should you prefer a more traditional Mediterranean style roofscape, consider our extravagant s-profile, Capistrano or our equally beautiful medium barrel option, Malibu. Last but not least, you can also spec this product in Ponderosa, our wood shake emulated silhouette which is ideal for those wanting a rustic vibe.

No matter the direction you decide to take, Arcadia Canyon Brown is an extremely distinctive masterpiece that invokes a variety of hues found in nature but also feelings of happiness and warmth. Its smoothness allows it to be the statement piece of your abode or the perfect duo to a complementing paint scheme.

Color Exploration

Arcadia Canyon Brown is an extremely adaptable pigment that effortlessly allows both homeowners and architects alike to select from a wide range of paint options. Here are two examples of popular schemes to get your creative juices flowing!

A magnificent roofscape deserves a bold color scheme to match so gloss the exterior of the home in a contrasty off white, like Sherwin Williams 7100 Arcade White. Accentuate the hues found in the roof tile by trimming the home in a complementary brown, such as 9098 Baked Cookie. Lastly, add a daring pop of color by painting the front door in a vivid emerald, like 6467 Kendal Green.

For a conventional yet earthy look, we suggest painting the building a soft yet unique hue, such as Sherwin Williams 9094 Playa Arenosa. This sandy inspired palette allows for your own creativity to blossom! Maybe you prefer a dark trim, like 6146 Umber, to mimic the roofscape and offset the base. A warmer tan like 7537 Irish Cream would also pair beautifully with these pigments and provide a welcoming aura for the front door. Or it’s possible you’d rather opt for trimming the structure with a lighter brown that showcases natural yellow-brown undertones, such as 6095 Toasty. If you go this route, we recommend tying everything together with 7537 Irish Cream for accents like shutters or garage doors as the inviting shade offers a stark and captivating contrast. With Arcadia Canyon Brown, the possibilities are endless.
